Know where you're exposed, and close the gaps that matter first.
Most business breaches start with something ordinary: a reused password, an unpatched plugin, a shared admin account or a backup nobody has tested. We review your websites, cloud accounts and connected tools, rank what we find by risk, and help you fix the important items first. Then we set up alerts so new problems are seen early.
Who it is for: Owners and operations leads who run a website, cloud tools or customer data and don't have a security person on the team, or who need to answer a client's security questions.
Problems this solves
- Nobody owns security day to day: Passwords, plugins, user accounts and backups are looked after when something breaks, not on a schedule.
- Too many people have too much access: Former staff, agencies and shared logins still have access to systems they no longer need.
- Customers ask security questions you can't answer: Tenders and enterprise clients ask how data is protected, and the honest answer is a guess.
- Automation and AI tools add new exposure: API keys, connected apps and chat tools can expose data if permissions and logging aren't set up carefully.
Example workflows
Security assessment
Starts when: You want to know where your business is exposed.
- List the websites, cloud accounts, tools and data in scope.
- Check configuration, access, updates and backups against common good practice.
- Test public-facing pages for known weaknesses within the agreed scope.
- Rank findings by risk and effort to fix.
A person decides: You approve the scope before any testing starts, and you decide which fixes go ahead.
Result: A plain-language report with a short, ordered fix list your team can act on.
Access and account clean-up
Starts when: Staff, agencies or tools have access that nobody has reviewed.
- List every user, shared login and connected app.
- Remove access that's no longer needed.
- Turn on multi-factor sign-in where it's available.
- Move credentials into a managed password store.
A person decides: A named owner confirms who should keep access before anything is removed.
Result: Each person and tool has only the access they need, and the list is documented.
Monitoring and incident readiness
Starts when: You want problems seen early and a plan for when one happens.
- Set up alerts for failed sign-ins, changes to critical files and unusual activity.
- Check that backups run and can be restored.
- Write a short response plan: who to call and what to do first.
- Review alerts and the plan on a regular schedule.
A person decides: Your team owns the response plan, and we agree who is contacted for each type of alert.
Result: Issues are noticed sooner, and a bad day has a plan instead of a scramble.
What you get
- Risk-ranked, not a wall of findings: You get a short list of what to fix first and why, so effort goes where it reduces risk most.
- Fixes, not just a report: We can make the configuration and access changes with your approval, or hand your team clear instructions.
- Scoped and authorised: Testing only covers systems you own or have permission to test, with the scope agreed in writing first.
- Built to explain: Findings are written so you can answer a client's security questionnaire from them.
Works with
- Website and CMS platforms
- Cloud hosting and storage
- Email and identity providers
- Password managers
- Backup tools
- Logging and alerting tools
- Your CRM and automation tools
Honest limits
- No security work can promise that a business will never be breached.
- We only test systems you own or have written permission to test, within an agreed scope.
- Formal certifications and compliance audits, such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, are issued by accredited auditors. We can help you prepare, but we don't issue them.
Questions
Is this a one-off check or an ongoing service?
Either. Many businesses start with an assessment and a fix list, then add monitoring and a regular review. We agree which suits you before any work starts.
Will testing disrupt our website or systems?
We agree the scope, timing and methods in advance, and avoid anything likely to take a live system down. If a test could carry risk, we tell you first and ask.
Can you help with a client's security questionnaire?
Yes. We can document your current controls and gaps in plain language so your answers are accurate. We won't claim a control you don't have.
Do you secure the AI and automation tools you build?
Yes. We use least-privilege access, keep credentials out of code, log what runs and keep sensitive actions behind human approval. See the technical capabilities page for how we scope this.
